Clear aligners show off your smile, so most people won’t even notice you’re wearing them. They straighten teeth invisibly, without metal braces.
The foundation of a healthy mouth is a healthy supporting structure for your teeth. Often overlooked because it doesn’t hurt, periodontal (gum) disease is very destructive. Dr. Passarello and his team of experienced hygienists at Passarello Family Dental take pride in our efforts to prevent gum disease from ever starting and treating it effectively when it is present.
Teeth often break down beyond the point that a filling is sufficient to repair them. When this happens, a crown is necessary. This will restore the tooth back to its original dimensions while providing the strength to endure all the stresses we apply to teeth. We at Passarello Family Dental provide both 1-visit CEREC crowns and 2-visit lab-fabricated crowns. The choice depends on the material used to make the crown, which Dr. Passarello will select based on what is best suited for each particular individual.
There are often times when teeth get beyond the point of repair. When this happens, an implant is the best option for replacement. Dr. Passarello works with specialists who place the implants in an optimal fashion so that he can restore them in a manner that will provide a beautiful and functional result.
Your smile is often the first thing people notice, and many people do not like it when their smile doesn’t appear white enough. If you fall into this category, Passarello Family Dental offers many choices to help you brighten your smile. From over-the-counter solutions to in-office Zoom advanced Power whitening, there is sure to be a solution that will give you the whitening you want. Dr. Passarello has even treated severe cases that formerly would have required veneers.
Your child’s dental care is of the utmost importance. The old saying that “they’re only going to fall out anyway” greatly diminishes the value of the first set of teeth we are given. These primary teeth help with speech, proper nutrition, and pave the way for the emergence of our adult teeth. Children should be seen before their 1st birthday in order to establish a “dental home”. This visit is primarily to educate the parents or guardians in the proper care of their child’s teeth but it also helps familiarize the child with the doctor, staff, and surroundings. Accidents happen, and when your child falls and bumps his/her tooth, it’s always easier to bring them in when they are already familiar with the surroundings. Dr. Passarello and his staff are here to help your child on the way to a lifetime of healthy smiles.
Dentures become necessary when so many teeth are missing that it becomes economically unfeasible to replace them with bridges or implants. Although almost everyone could theoretically abandon their dentures and have implants placed, Dr. Passarello realizes that this is not always practical. For this reason, he will be glad to fabricate the best complete or partial dentures possible. There are times though, due to anatomical limitations, that even the best made denture will have trouble staying in. This is when as few as 2 implants can be placed to help hold the denture in. If you experience problems with your dentures, ask Dr. Passarello what can be done to improve them.
